If You Want To Be Happy, Be Grateful

It will give you a feeling of joy when you are thinking about the things you have in your life. It is an inside feeling. You do not have to tell anybody or even say it out loud.  Everybody can be happy for different things. You can have your own list. It does not need to be fancy or what is important for others. It is for you.

I am grateful for my health, my brain, my family, my children, my books, my CDs, scientists, TV, for living in the USA, for being from the rich Iranian culture, history and poets and arts, for my knowledge, for nature, Walden pond, Concord MA, for Emerson, Henry David Thoreau, Einstein, Marie and Pierre Curie, Steve Jobs, Qatar airways, my home, my car, my goals, the places I want to travel, for money, for snow, for California, trees, Europe, Canada, My parent’s home in Iran, Harvard University,  Paris, New York, Movies, Bruce Lee, for our turkey dinner and pumpkin pie, for my nap, for my hair, my fire place, for holidays, for the movies Oliver Twist, Song of Bernadette and A Christmas Carol, for Christmas gifts, for coffee and tea, for Starbucks, for Harvard library and Harvard Commons, ……..

I am grateful and at same time I want to achieve a lot more in my life. I want to make more money, become a world class speaker, bestselling author, a prominent expert in the human brain’s health and function.

I am grateful for my goals, dreams, plan and hard working.

You write your own list. You have more things which you can be happy about than you know. You must think about them, otherwise you will forget about them and you end up thinking only about the things you do not have.

I AM 100% SURE YOU ALWAYS HAVE SOMETHING TO BE GRATEFUL FOR.
